1. Information We Collect

When you use DoodleMi, we may collect the following information:

• Photos you upload to create your coloring book or illustrated portraits.
• Contact and shipping information you provide during checkout (name, email, shipping address).
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
• Dedication messages you write for your book.
• Free coloring page requests: the photo you upload and the email address you provide to receive your free page.
• Usage data such as pages visited and actions taken on the site.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and produce your custom coloring book or digital portraits.
• To process payments and fulfill orders.
• To communicate with you about your order status.
• If you request a free coloring page, to deliver it to you by email. We may occasionally email you a related offer, which you can opt out of anytime by replying or writing to [email protected].
• To improve our products and services.

3. Photo Storage and Processing

Photos you upload are used solely to generate your coloring book pages or portraits. They are processed by our AI image generation service and stored only to fulfill your order. We do not sell, share, or use your photos for any purpose other than creating your artwork, and we do not use them to train AI models.

We keep the photo you upload, and the files we generate from it, so we can fulfill your order, keep your download links working, and help you with any support questions. You can ask us to delete your photo and files at any time by emailing [email protected].

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate DoodleMi:

• Stripe for secure payment processing.
• Lulu for book printing and shipping.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloudflare R2 for image storage and hosting.
• Image generation services for converting photos to coloring pages.
• Pinterest and Instagram (Meta) APIs for publishing our own marketing content (see Section 5).
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Pinterest advertising tools (the Meta Pixel and Pinterest tag) to measure and deliver our ads (see Section 6).

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

5. Pinterest API and Social Media Publishing

DoodleMi uses the Pinterest API (and the Instagram/Meta API) to publish our own marketing content (pins and posts linking back to doodlemi.com) to our own DoodleMi business accounts. We access only our own account through these APIs to create and manage our own content; we do not collect, request, or process any Pinterest or Instagram account data about you, our visitors.

• Not affiliated with Pinterest. DoodleMi is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest, Inc. “Pinterest” is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.
• Data on disconnect. Any Pinterest access tokens and Pinterest-derived data we hold are stored only to operate our own posting. If we disconnect our application from Pinterest, or our access is revoked or expires, we delete the associated Pinterest access tokens and any Pinterest-derived data we have stored.
• No resale or redistribution. We do not sell, rent, redistribute, or otherwise share Pinterest content or any Pinterest-derived data with third parties.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use essential cookies and session storage to keep your book creation progress during your visit. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage of the site (such as which pages and marketing links visitors arrive from).

We also use advertising and measurement tools from the platforms we advertise on, currently the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and, when active, the Pinterest tag. These set cookies and collect standard usage information, such as the pages you view, your device and browser, your general location from your IP address, and actions you take like starting checkout or completing a purchase (including the order value). This information is shared with Meta (and Pinterest) so we can measure how well our ads perform and show relevant ads to people who have visited DoodleMi (remarketing).

We do not enable “advanced matching,” so we do not send your name, email, or phone number to these advertising platforms, and we do not sell your personal information. You can limit this tracking through your browser settings, your device's ad settings, and your ad preferences on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

7. Data Retention

We retain your order information for as long as necessary to fulfill your order and comply with legal obligations. Uploaded photos may be deleted after your order is completed.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

9. Children's Privacy

DoodleMi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
